Our Door Operators (Machine Operators) produce the quality parts needed by our customers by performing job duties at assigned machines in compliance with approved work instructions in a safe and productive manner.

Plastic parts are taken from the machine, trimmed and checked for quality, then stacked or boxed for movement within the shop. Non-conforming parts are scrapped and machine-problems are reported to other employees for resolution. In some cases, additional work is also performed before a part can be removed from the machine.
This is a physically demanding job assignment, with the entire shift spent standing and walking (except for break times). Job activities include lifting and significant physical demands on hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders and back muscles. The shop is not temperature-controlled and will be very warm in summer months. This job is performed on three 8-hour shifts throughout the day, including 10-20% overtime in the course of a year.
